Katie Roemer, MA, LCPC

KatieRoemerKatie is a solution focused and client centered therapist. She has been providing counseling services to individuals and families since January 2013. She received her Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University and is a member of Chi Sigma Iota, an international honor society that values academic and professional excellence in counseling. Katie offers a unique, laid-back, approach that allows you to freely explore your health and wellness without feeling the outside pressures many often face.

As a licensed professional counselor Katie has experience with children (as young as 3 years old), teens and adults. She incorporates age-appropriate techniques, including art and play therapy, which resonates well with children and teens. When appropriate, she will observe clients in their daycare or school setting. She enjoys working with adults and couples at different stages in their life; helping them explore healthy boundaries and establish personal and relationship goals. Katie hosts small group sessions on various topics including Codependency, Self-Esteem, Healthy Relationships, Stress and Anxiety.

You will have direct input on the pace and goals you want to achieve while you attend sessions with Katie. Katie is focused on providing an individualized and non-judemental approach to help you face whatever challenge you may be dealing with.
