Kristin Kneedler is an adjunct Professor at McKendree University in Lebanon Illinois and a psychotherapist at Counselors Associates Ltd. She is a Nationally Board Certified Counselor a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a certified Trauma Resolution Therapist. Kristin is the founder, Executive Director and Clinical Director of Counselors Associates Ltd in Glen Carbon Illinois.

Kristin graduated Suma Cum Laude at Brenau University Graduate School in Gainesville Georgia where she earned an advanced Masters of Science degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology.  After graduation Kristin worked as clinician for Catholic Social Services and as a psychological evaluation specialist at a private psychiatry office in Atlanta Georgia. From there she went on to develop and implement a counseling/therapy program in second chance high school in rural Georgia. In 2008 Kristin moved to Edwardsville Illinois opened a private practice and began work as a psychotherapist in private practice where she remains today.

Kristin specializes in treating Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Eating Disorders Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Self-Harm. She works with her clients on a variety of issues including, resolving and managing anger behaviors, improving communication and relationship skills, improving stress management and overall coping skills, increasing and stabilizing self-acceptance and self-love.
